Update 42 - Understanding God's Missions 2019: 3.1
The journey to Africa this time lasted nearly 2 months. In just over a year, we have spent 5 months on the continent, and experienced several advancements for the Kingdom. I want to make it perfectly clear that only by the power and presence of the Almighty have the numerous achievements been possible. Left to my own devices, I would have screwed things up within the first month, then most likely, the progress would have stopped. Thank the Lord He is not looking for perfectio

Update 41 - Understanding God's Missions 2019: 3.1
Little did we know that our four-day getaway to Lake Malawi would bear so much fruit. Let me state unequivocally that it was only because of God, since He had definitely prepared the path and clearly guided us. The area is heavily infested with witchcraft and demonic activity. The Bible verses we have been studying, the books we have been reading, and what we have been experiencing are giving us first-hand experience on how to deal with spiritual warfare. Update 40 - Understanding God's Missions 2019: 3.1
We decided to take a three hour drive to see Lake Malawi. Our anticipation level of what the Lord would reveal continues to heighten. Daily we seem to have opportunities to spread the Gospel. Through the many situations that the Lord has kept me safe, and the vision I had over a year ago, my confidence in Christ is continuing to build. Luke 10;19 NK

Update 38 - Understanding God's Missions 2019: 3.1
After our daughter had returned back to America, we had scheduled a trip to South Africa. Jonathan had visited Malawi to see what God’s Echo was doing. The conclusion was to move forward in South Africa with pastor training and Bible distribution. We were prompted to go there to help encourage Jonathan and support their efforts. Bubba was the name of the gentleman that was helping Jonathan and knew the local language, Zulu. We were met at the airport by both of them. Whenever

Update 37 - Understanding God's Missions 2019: 3.1
Our daughter Maria is safely back in the US now. It was very emotional and a tough 24 hours or so. The impact that people here in Africa left on her was monumental. She can hardly wait to return in the summer. If possible, she may even stay for an entire year and continue her college classes online. Everyone that has come here has experienced the same thing, a longing to stay and to be around these people more. My relationship with several of the people here has grown substan
