Nepal is one of those countries that has been effected so badly by covid lockdown & seen so many lives lost. After many months of lock down, so many people haven’t got much food and stress builds up in family homes. So much so, that the suicide rate in the areas our teams are working in are going up close to 2000 deaths so far! This breaks our hearts and can’t imagine how much God is also hurting for His people.
Remember that people in poor countries work each day to eat each day. So if they are locked down for a month, then there’s no business or work been done for a month, resulting with no food at home. Please keep them in your prayers.
We are so blessed and pleased with our team in Nepal who despite all these issues thats around them, they continue to journey from villages to towns and blessing hundreds of people. They bless them with groceries, rice, meats, health items, children get books and school items, and also help those with medical issues. Most importantly they share Hope with their people, loving on them with the power of Jesus and letting them know God is in control and loves them unconditionally. The team bless people with bibles and christian materials/tracks.
The team have also been doing online pastors courses via zoom and trying to learn as much as they can. Hopefully by December they will commence face to face learnings at our echo centre.
Lord Jesus we thank you for your Mighty Hand upon the team in Nepal. Continue to use them for your Glory, reaching and teaching all buddhists, hindus and anyone else who doesn’t know your name so that they may have a relationship with you. In Jesus Name.
1 Peter 1:3-6
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ
